Senior Flyers keep the streak alive with win in Spirit River

first_imgThe Senior Flyers have been on a bit of a roll lately, as Saturday’s win marks the team’s fifth straight victory.It’s been a strong weekend on the ice for the Senior Flyers, as with last night’s win, the team has defeated the top two teams in their NPHL division in the past two nights, beating Grande Prairie 7-2 Friday evening at home.Game two of the home-and-home series will hit Fort St. John ice this Friday February 1, beginning at 8:30 p.m. at the North Peace Arena.- Advertisement -Friday’s game will be the team’s final game for a while, as the Senior Flyers will then take a one month break from the North Peace Hockey League. They will retake to the ice March 21, to begin the five game Savage Cup series with Powell River.last_img
