Peach Fest Finalizes Lineup With Gov’t Mule And Dozens Of Artist Additions

first_imgThe Peach Music Festival wowed jam fans with a great initial lineup announcement several months ago, and today the festival has revealed their final lineup for this year’s event. Taking place from August 11-14 at Montage Mountain near Scranton, PA, the headliners for the event remain unchanged: Trey Anastasio Band, Gregg Allman, The String Cheese Incident, and a collaborative Gregg Allman Incident set.The new lineup features some work from Warren Haynes, who will not only bring Gov’t Mule to the festival but will also play a “Wake Up With Warren” solo set to get things rockin’ in the morning. Could Sutton Foster’s Sweet Charity Land on B’way?

first_img Hey, big spenders, you may be able to spend a little time with two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster on Broadway! According to the New York Post, Sweet Charity could transfer to the Main Stem’s Circle in the Square Theatre in fall 2017. The New Group’s revival is currently in previews at The Pershing Square Signature Center and is scheduled to officially open on November 20.Directed by Leigh Silverman and choreographed by Joshua Bergasse, the cast includes Foster as Charity Hope Valentine, along with Yesenia Ayala, Darius Barnes, James Brown III, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Shuler Hensley, Sasha Hutchings, Donald Jones, Jr., Nikka Graff Lanzarone, Emily Padgett and Joel Perez.Cy Coleman, Dorothy Fields and Neil Simon’s musical follows the romantic ups and downs of Charity, an ingenuous dance hall performer in Times Square. Third annual Chin Chan Cycle Store 55-miler set for Easter Sunday

THE cream of the nation’s cyclists will compete in six categories on Easter Sunday when the third annual Chin Chan Cycle Store-sponsored 55-mile road race pedals off.The race will begin at Grove on the East Bank of Demerara and proceed to the Coca Cola sign on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway before returning to finish at the point of origin.The top six Seniors, along with the top three in the Juniors, Juveniles, Upright, Under-45 and Over-45 categories, would all be handsomely rewarded according to the organisers.They have also disclosed that Cube Davis, owner of Team Coco’s, Tony Chung of Auto Body Works and Mark Duke-McWray along with Auto Body Works (all based in the USA) have all chipped in with sponsorship.The notable names to watch would be Hamza Eastman who has won the 2017 and 2018 races while Romello Crawford, Jamual John, Curtis Dey, Paul De Nobrega, Andrew Hicks, Deeraj Garbarran, Christopher Griffith, Junior Niles, Raymond Newton, Briton John, Ian Jackson, Jaikarran Sukhai, Paul Choo-Wee-Nam, Warren McKay, Lear Nunes, Alexis Mendes and Adealie Hodge would all fancy their chances of cashing in big on Sunday.Race time is 09:00hrs and the entrance fee is $2 500. read more
